Rolex is a private company by the Hans Wilsdorf Foundation, that specifically produces luxury watches. Rolex does everything from designing, manufacturing, and distributing all of their watches.

Ebay

Ebay is an extremely popular online marketplace where people and businesses can buy and sell items. There are more than 145 million buyers online, and with over 700 million items listed, eBay can be considered one of the hugest online marketplaces(eBayinc, para 2). People internationally are able to do business together over eBay’s website. EBay works together with PayPal and Skype to improve online commerce.

Although these companies operate in very different business industries, they are similar in the fact that they are all one of the top companies in their specific industries. Another similarity between all the companies is that consumers have the option to purchase a watch from either one. These companies also all work with the community to try to enhance their support and relationships with consumers.
